Why I chose the item:
This oral presentation rubric is a tool to help student who are on levels 1 and 2. This is a great tool for the students to use to grade one another when they are giving their oral presentation. It is very broad and doesn't have much room for comments but it allows them to receive a variety of feedback from their peers. I decided to use this rubric for an overall class support system. I think it is a great way to begin building relationships between the students and create a healthy community for the classroom.
How I will use it in my classroom:

How I will use it in my classroom:
- I plan to use this rubric as a class relationship builder and to get the students involved in each other’s learning process.
- I don’t think this self-assessment should be used with every oral assignment but is a good idea to use for certain oral presentations so they have feedback and learn as they are developing their speaking skills.

Why I chose this item:
I decided to use this rubric to help me gather information about my students language abilities. This questioner will allow me to understand my students as well as getting to know them. In the first questioner is a great starting point but eventually I would like to use the second questionnaire to extend the material this will allow me to be able to make approbate goals for the individual student. I decided to use this artifact because it seemed like a very helpful tool in order to gain information about my students and see where I need to go from there.
